How to measure your foot correctly

To make sure you choose the right size, we recommend measuring your foot by following these simple steps:

1. Prepare what you need. You will need a blank sheet of paper larger than your foot, a pencil, a ruler and, if possible, the socks you usually wear with your professional footwear.

2. Place the paper on the floor. Position it against a wall so it does not move. It is important to do this on a hard surface, never on carpet.

3. Step onto the sheet. Place your foot on the paper with your heel against the wall, keeping your body weight naturally distributed over your foot.

4. Mark the outline. With the pencil held upright, draw a line at the longest point of your foot (usually the big toe, although for some people it is the second toe).

5. Measure the distance. Using the ruler, measure in millimetres from the edge of the paper (where the wall was) to the mark for the longest toe.

6. Repeat with the other foot. It is common for one foot to be slightly larger than the other. Always use the measurement of the larger foot to choose your size.

7. Check the chart. Find your measurement in millimetres in our size chart and choose the corresponding EU size.

Tips for choosing the right size

Measure your feet at the end of the day. Feet tend to swell slightly throughout the day, especially if you spend many hours standing. Measuring them in the afternoon or at the end of the day will give you a more realistic reference for professional use.

Consider your socks. If you are going to wear your Suecos® with thick socks or compression stockings, take this into account when choosing your size.

If you are between two sizes, choose the larger one. A little extra room is preferable to tight footwear, especially for long shifts.

The material adapts. Please remember that our Suecos® are made from EVA material, which adapts to your foot after a couple of wears. However, we always recommend choosing your usual size.
